Job Summary:
The Associate in Working Capital Management proactively executes and assists delivery teams in driving the rapid and sustainable release of cash from working capital, by identifying the key drivers of working capital improvement, quantifying this opportunity based on levers, and providing recommendations on regarding the activities that are required to realize the cash.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Execute/support working capital optimization engagements;
Help to identify opportunities for clients to optimize their working capital
Support the senior leadership in business development.

Job Requirements
• Education
Prefer master degree (Business/Finance/Operations/Supply Chain preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience
At least 2 years of consulting experience or similar relevant experience in commercials, operational finance, costing, manufacturing & supply chain and treasury are preferred.
Professional Services/Consulting experience preferred, but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at middle levels of the organization.
Good business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends preferred.
Proven ability to work and influence cross-functionally and geographically, and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and departments.
Experience in being part of client-focused advisory solutions (not essential but desirable).
Competencies
• Technical knowledge & and problem-solving skills
Detailed understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Quantitative data analysis for standard Working Capital elements, like inventory, account receivables, and account payables elements on MS Excel/similar tools.
Analyzes and presents the pros and cons of the analysis, as well as findings and recommendations. and
Displays a critical reading of financial statements, business models, notes to accounts, and working capital-related line items, including schedules to statements.
Demonstrates technical competence (especially financial analytical skills and report writing skills).
Identifies the best way to capture data, construct analysis, and present findings.
Assists in thoroughly analyzing and structured findings in the reports.
Can work proficiently on research databases.
Maximizes own productivity level and efficiency by taking responsibility for managing own work schedule.
• Awareness of services that the practice provides and support in brand-building
Networks internally within the peer group and at other levels in the firm in order to gain an understanding of the opportunities/issues that may impact his/her clients.
Assists Manager/Sr. Manager in ideation and pitch preparation/marketing materials/credentials.
Assists Manager/Sr. Manager in ideation and preparation of material for presentation at in any public forum/newsletter/any other thought leadership initiative, etc.
• Develops commercial acumen and builds rapport
Develops client business knowledge.
Helps to articulate the service offerings to local clients.
Keeps abreast of working capital trends through reports/newspapers, as well as the leadership of competitors.
Develops rapport with the client’s middle management.
Is inquisitive, looks for possibilities rather than just problems.

Contributes information to knowledge-sharing tools.
Shares knowledge and experiences with others via formal and informal methods.
Shares information willingly and keeps others informed and up-to-date.
