Creating Wordpress sites for clients
What does a Wordpress Developer do?
You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Digital marketing managers will work with the marketing team, supporting teams of interns, account executives, content creators, and vendors, to launch their campaigns on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Identify trends and insights, and optimize website speed and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative sitemaps, website layout, and forms
Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
Instrument conversion points and optimizes user funnels
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

BS/MS degree in Web Development or a related field
History of website development hosting and maintenance
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM including site indexing and keyword updating
Highly creative when it comes to unique layouts and eye-grabbing design
Experience with design tools is a plus
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments for website design
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, search console, WebTrends and Wordpress plugin ecosystem)
Knowledge of wpbakery and associated themes is a plus
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Experience in marketing is a plus
