Wood QC Manager

A. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION

• Ensure product generated in the manufacturing process in accordance with standard.
• Coordinate with production improvement activities. Coordinate with production implementation of corrective actions when problems quality.
• Feedback, WI edit unsuitable for production, systematic inspection of the production chain in wood factory.
• Check counter sample early detection of potential ricks by quality audit at the stage process.
• Imparting quality information to the shop floor, the parts related.
• Communicate the plant quality through related departments, ensuring reasonable standards of good practice.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & AUTHORITIES:
1. Daily work
• Planning work for subordinates.
• Read the production plan and notify the employee that points to note regarding the customer, the incident happened in the past, Concession note minute ( if any) , information of counter sample ( if any)...
• Reading trial production plan of PPD (Production Preparation Department) and check to make sure counter sample was ready before mass production.
• Read and reply email related to quality, Inspection report of subordinates and final inspection report.
• Plan to check room compliance / follow the production process.
• Coordinate with Wood Shop Floor Managers, Final Control Departments to solve quality problem within allowed
• Check, prevent potential errors arising in line to achieve quality output.

2. Weekly/ monthly/ sudden tasks:
• Inspection report week/ monthly/incident unusual quality in the factory.
• Check sample made by PPD before move to TD (Technical Department). Detect defect ( if any) to improve.
• Planned audit/ evaluation of important process ( key process) in the factory.
• Coordinate with the production, Final Control to address quality issues in the factory, ensuring products meet SC standard factory/ customer.
• Update standard for production , QC and departments related.
• Check the equipment manage in the department . Propose the necessary equipment for the Job.
• The other related job.


C. WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
Internal Relationship:

• Coordinate with supervision and production department heads to complete the inspection.
• Contact PPD, TD department to solve problems relative to engineering.
• Contact Incoming, FC to understand the quality.
• Contact with other related departments in case.

External Relationship: Contact sub-contractor when needed.

Reporting:

* Superior: QC Senior Manager
* Subordinate: QC Supervisor, QC Team leader, QC Staff/Auditor

D. DUTIES ABOUT CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment)

E. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION: (can be flexible for Manager/Senior manager or Director)

• Engineering Degree and major in Mechanical Engineer or Technical field
• Having 10 years experience in QA/QC position at Furniture manufacturing companies and at least 05 years as Manager level
• Good at FMEA, SPC, 7 tools, other QA/QC standard/tools
• Good at Quality awareness and always make sense for better quality improvement
• Good communication in English
• Good at MS Office and technical software
• Good leadership and presentation skill.

F. WORKING CONDITION:

* Working place: Wood Factory, ScanCom VietNam Ltd

* Working time: Full time

- Support to pay 2.5% of required insurance
