Our client is an Australian Software Company that specialises in geospatial reporting and analytics software used by the environment and clean energy sectors. The software includes geospatial mapping and display, scientific calculations, forecasting, projection and visual analytics. We are now looking to expand the team supporting our client and have a number of roles that need to be filled including Web-mapping and spatial data analysis expert.

The development and ongoing maintenance of this software suite will be both technically challenging and rewarding to the successful candidates. This project is a real CV builder and something you will want to be part of.

EDUCATION
------------------
* Computer Science Degree
* Undergraduate with Masters in an Information or Computer Science Discipline.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
-------------------------------
● Intermediate English or above
● Fullstack web mapping, web and geospatial applications, backend data processing and analytics
● Demonstrated skills in core modern web development technologies and techniques
● API development and continuous delivery
● Knowledge of modern DevOps approaches such as containerisation and infrastructure as code
● Demonstrated skills with RDBMS databases
● Experience with cloud computing, specifically Google Cloud Services and associated processes, systems and integration
● Experience with the ESRI and Open Source GIS platforms highly regarded
