Web/android Application Engineer

RCH develops, produces and commercializes Electronic Cash Registers (ECRs), Point of Sales (PoS) and cloud services for Food&Beverage and Retail markets in Italy and EU countries.
These products and services are constantly evolving to both comply with new fiscal legislation in the different countries and offer effective, appealing and on-the-cutting-edge user experience to our final customers.
To consolidate and expand its Research and Development teams in Italy and Vietnam, RCH is looking for Software Application Engineers at different level of experience to join our Software Team responsible for Android and cloud based solutions.

We are looking for candidates of all levels (from new graduate to senior).

The candidates shall play a key role in this team through
1. Analysis of new requirements stemming from fiscal authorities, the identified markets in general or in case specific customers
2. Design and implement these requirements within RCH Android platform or within RCH cloud solutions, and integrate these solutions in RCH continuous integration and test environmnet
3. Evaluate and respond to issues raised by stakeholders such as fiscal authority and customers by properly analyzing these issues and provide proposal for resolutions
4. Availability to travel in Italy, Vietnam and in case to other countries inside and outside EU

• Bachelor or higher University degree
• Software development capabilities according to experience level
o > 3 years – Software Engineer
o 1-2 years – Junior Software Engineer
o < 1 – New Grad
• Clean, methodic and self-critical working mindset, in terms of requirements acquisition, definition of use cases, design and software implementation
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming and related Design Patterns
• Consolidated knowledge of Android Studio, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of web application frameworks, in particular Laravel
• Knowledge of web applications and user interface frameworks such as Angular and Vue.js
• Working experience of versioning systems, in particular GIT and SVN, and continuous integration environments such as Jenkins and Bitbucket or others
• Knowledge of Tomcat servlet container or Glassfish web application server
• Knowledge of Python or other script languages for test case automation
• Knowledge of C#, C++
• Knowledge of Internet Secure Communications (HTTPS, …)
• Fluent written and spoken English, possibly German and/or French
