Wash Technician / Senior Wash Technician

** Key Purpose of the Job: To provide onsite technical support to Wash/Color Team (in QA department) to assure that vendors capability in terms of wet/dry process and exsiccation.

** Key Area of Responsibility:
- Coordinate with VFA Wash/Color team and provide onsite technical knowhow supports to garment venders.
- Provide and educate to follow-up Jeanswear SOP for garment venders to execute bulk production.
- Onsite Approval (Shade –Band / 1st Batch).
- Able to work with team member and accomplish goals set by department or Manager.

** Job Role (Maximizing Performance): Technical Individual Contributor.

- Required Professional Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or Higher Certificate / Diploma in textile.
- Minimum 5 years technical experiences in garment wet and dry processing and proven ability to give technical advice and communicate with factories effectively and trouble shooting skills.
- Good understanding of technical aspects/ production/systems and overall factory/product compliance parameters and knowledge about the entire wet and dry processing & Quality process as well as new Techniques of wet and dry process.
- Knowledge in Fabric parameters and characteristics /laboratory testing, product inspection and factory (Laundry) evaluation.
- Strong technical and Computer knowledge in email and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
