Key Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Account managers oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. They ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
• They will work with the Logistics Manager to ensure daily productivity and KPI targets are met and maintained
• They manage teams of workers and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training and discipline of staff.
Key Tasks:
• Working with the Logistics Manager in motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
• Working with the Logistics Manager in the scheduling of training staff and monitoring their performance and progress
• Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers
• Primary overseeing stock control and processing orders
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
• Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters and customers
• Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, and telephone
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This includes the review of monthly KPI reports to customers
• Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day
• Preparing monthly debit note based on the quotation and service contract
• Ensuring and working with the Logistics Manager on the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment
• Being able to fulfil other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager and the company

Minimum Education /Qualifications
• University degree or equivalent with major in business administration / supply chain management
Minimum Experience & Special Knowledge/Skills
• 3 years in a managerial role
• 5 years of MNC experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
• Multi modal knowledge and operational skills
• Knowledge in quality management (quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement)
• Knowledge of service levels expected by clients
• Fluent in local language and English (read, spoken and written)
• Proficient in MS office (excel/powerpoint)
Behavioral Competencies:
• People managerial skills - Lead, delegate, motivate and develop team/s
• Plan, organize, prioritize and coordinate daily and future activities
• Self-driven, integrity and resourceful
• Customer focus and able to translate customer needs into business solutions through innovation and creativity

• Strive well under stress and meeting deadlines
