Visual Merchandiser

- Delegate work accordingly to Visual Merchandising Supervisors and Artists level with guidance and motivation by:
o Imparting project in details to keep the qualities of the displaying, designing and decorating plans.
o Setting up detailed objectives for the direct reports to meet the display deadline.
o Examining and evaluating the project to ensure the predetermined progress.

- Work closely with Marketing and Visual Merchandising team in Malaysia on all promotions and daily functions of Visual Marketing by:
o Frequently communicating with the team to acknowledge the new execution projects.
o Asking for approval from Visual Merchandising Department in Malaysia for all Visual Creative work before execution on the floor.

- Implementing ideas in the store by:
o Working closely with the team to brainstorm new proposed ideas.
o Working closely with the Advertising and Promotion Department (HO) for new proposed ideas.

- Monitoring and making sure all works are executed well in the store by:
o Regularly checking the display and decoration of the Department Store to make sure everything of good aesthetic standards.
o Making sure styling of mannequins is up to date and maintains the standards
o Investigating the quality assurance during and after the implementation period.

- Monitoring general maintenance by:
o Determining what needs to be maintained and get approval for maintenance from Visual Merchandising Department in Malaysia.
o Monitoring the maintenance, upgrading and alternation for those places/ works that are determined to be fixed.

- Train and develop staff by:
o Appraising the staff to find out the training needs.
o Together with the training staff, initially and periodically implementing necessary class-room training and on-the-job training courses for staff.
o Offering counseling sessions for staff in need.

- At least 3 year experience as a designer at management level, with:
o Minimum 24 years old.
o Bachelor’s degree.
- English/Vietnamese ability: Fluency in speaking, writing and reading.
- Experience in project management, with:
o Having analyzing, negotiating, communicating and contracting skills.
o Having communication and interpersonal skills.
o Having management skill (manage display & operations practices effectively).
- Honesty, integrity, carefulness.
- Ability to work under high pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Graphic software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Office software (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Problem solving skill: Ability to define, analyze different type of problems and know how to handle promptly, effectively.
- Promote Teamwork: Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers; handle interpersonal conflict effectively.
