[URGENT] Investment Associate

The Investment Associate / Manager will work directly with the Director of Investmens to execute the investment
strategy of Vingroup Ventures. This role requires a focus on deal execution, including the ability to source and
analyze deals, knowledge of the due diligence process, strong presentation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
that is able to deal with ambiguity and change. This role is based in HCMC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the investment strategies to achieve Vingroup Ventures’ objectives
- Analyze investments including creating and checking financial models, company and industry analysis
- Assist with due diligence and coordinate transaction execution and closing
- Help monitor the performance of portfolio companies
- Coach, develop and mentor junio members of the team, especially with technical skills training
- Manage reporting system for deal pipeline and portfolio companies
- Write thought pieces to be published and presented at industry events
- Other projects as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING
- Excellent financial modeling and accounting skills
- Experience and knowledge of the venture investing market in Vietnam. Additional experience in Asia and
other regions is a plus
- Practical knowledge of key legal terms and issues used within venture investments
- Effective relationship management skills and demonstrated credibility with investment teams
- Technically proficient, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Thinker
- Detail-oriented and analytical. This is a highly data-driven role. You must love numbers
- Like to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. No project is too small
- Work well in teams, and also independent enough to figure things out on your own
- Ability and willingness to travel
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-7 years of combined work experience in venture capital/private equity/investment banking and
operational experience at a startup or large corporation. If you have worked in several of these areas,
that is a definite plus
- International work experience or studies is a plus, but not required
- Fluent in written/spoken English and Vietnamese
- Excellent Excel skills
