Tribe Purpose: The Business Tribe supports the business by identifying TCB customer needs, both internally and externally, through development of products tailored to enrich customer experience throughout the lifecycle with TCB. The tribe designs and develops digital initiatives that maximizes value and ensures customer satisfaction, increasing customer portfolio through converting visitations to applications within a digital platform. Business tribe members are required to proactively research on market strategies, providing intelligence to the business and solve new and challenging problems.

Role Description: The UI/UX Designer role is responsible for the shaping and designing of user centric products along with developers to deliver an easy-to-use product for the business. The UI/UX Designer develops the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for Techcombank’s products, including websites, software, hardware and tools. The role will work in a squad to create design architecture, specifications and requirements for the look, feel and functionality of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
User Interface Design
• Proactively drive discussions with developers and squad members to understand their business goals and objective while effectively communicating the design ideas
• Review the functional specifications and participate in the development of design for functionality and user interface
• Use design tools to create storyboards, samples, prototypes and templates for demonstrations and user testing
• Review changes or enhancements for alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggests improvements
• Develops creative and new UI components and style guides based on business requirements

User Research and Testing
• Evaluate market and consumer user experience research and results
• Propose updates to design architecture based on discovered trends and patterns
• Perform user design research, including aggregation and analysis of primary and secondary research data, for consumer and user design acceptance and overall user experience
• Test prototype interface and feasibility of products

Documentation
• Be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into design documents
• Review functional requirement documents by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and guides for the application

Domain Expertise:
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge on at least two of the following visual design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle, InVision, Sketch, Axure
• Knowledge on at least two of the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Possesses work session design & facilitation skills
• Experience designing consumer quality experiences and products on both web and mobile platforms that enable business capability
• Ability to design clear and creative artifacts (task flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes)
• Experience with planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing and rapid prototyping

Agile/Digital Experience
• Solid knowledge and expertise in user experience design
• Experience as a designer on an agile team is a plus, along with detailed working knowledge of Agile roles and responsibilities as well as how design ‘fits’ in the process
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment, which includes discussions around creative reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback to and from fellow team members and clients

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Studies, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, Motion Design or other related disciplines
