UI/UX Designer

These will be your responsibilities:
● Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction to improve the overall user experience.
● Conceptualize and iterate original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design problems across multiple devices including Android, iOS and responsive web
● Understanding of the agile product/software lifecycle and ability to communicate and engage development teams to achieve the best solutions.
● Participate in ideation and scoping for new features and initiatives
● Help support and evolve design systems by creating and modifying design components and elements
● Perform usability testing to understand user behavior and product performance
● Support development teams by executing UI production work as needed
● Clearly articulate design choices and be open to taking and gathering feedback
● Love and believe in the value of good experience design; always representing the end user’s needs at all times
● Create deliverables including:
○ High-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, user Interface conceptual designs
○ User stories, personas, storyboards, user flows
○ Usability testing
○ Style guide

Your Experience and Skills:
● Minimum 2-3+ years of design experience, ideally in an outsource agency environment
● Bachelor’s degree in design.
● A strong portfolio displaying a focused body of UX/UI work highlighting your design processes, problem solving skills and capabilities
● Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, InVision
● Proficiency in designing across multiple devices
● Experience with tracking and management software tools like JIRA, Confluence
● A strong understanding of user-centered design, visual design, interaction design, and information architecture
● Ability to present your designs and pitch your solutions to various stakeholders.
● Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
● Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
● Extremely detail-oriented and organized
● Comfortable with fast paced environments
● Ability to work within a small team and independently. Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork

It’s an advantage if you have:
● Experience with Product Development or with a Startup
● Experience with 3D
● Experience designing and taking Saas solutions or products to market.
● User Testing and Validation experience
● Experience with Jira or similar Agile execution and reporting tool is highly desirable.
