Summary/Objective:
Interprets written or spoken material into English/Vietnamese languages, ensures meaning and context are maintained, reproduce statements in another language for unique listening or reading audience.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
1. Read through or listens to material in English/Vietnamese language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a Vietnamese/English language, making sure to preserve the original meaning;
2. Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately;
3. Translates a variety of documents including legal, technical, educational, and commercial materials;
4. Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting English/Vietnamese spoken or written language to Vietnamese/English;
5. Facilitate communication for people with limited English/Vietnamese proficiency;
6. Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion;
7. Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language;
8. Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations;
9. Follow up with requesters to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
10. Teach English for the company’s Associates.

Required Experience:
1. 03 – 05 years’ proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role;
2. Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors;
