Trainer

At the heart of Christina’s are the people that make it all possible. We invest heavily in training and development for our young team; helping them reach their potential. Being a trainer means guiding and mentoring our team members to learn new skills while instilling a desire to continue learning. We believe in the philosophy that there are no teachers, only learners. You job as a trainer is to inspire people to want to learn. We value passionate, energetic, and caring trainers that love sharing and discussing new ideas. This means:
- Creating an active, engaging training environment
- Building rapport with the team
- Understanding what our team members do first hand in order to share/introduce new ideas
- Consistently research new training methods
- Keep track of performance and making adjustments to training for individual trainees
- Follow up outside of training courses
- Participating in researching, planning, and execution of curriculum
- Communicating across teams, identifying training needs
- Explaining technical considerations to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable with public-speaking, giving presentations, documentation
- Continuously come up with new games and activities that keeps training engaging and fun

- Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work well with our team
- Be fluent in English (writing, reading, speaking)
- Have strong communications skills both oral and written
- Have training or presenting experience
- Assess trainees and adjust training
- Be out-going and approachable
- Be energetic and encouraging
- Take initiative to make things happen
- Build connections with others
- Create a safe environment that fosters new ideas
