Mô tả công việc
This position is to report to Head of Campus and Head of Vietnamese Department.
*Temporary Vietnamese Literature Teacher Trainee
(until 30 June 2019 and renewal by mutual agreement)
Duties & responsibilities:
1. Teach 4 subjects including Literature, History, Geography and Culture for Vietnamese students at KS 3 and KS 4
2. Participate in teaching Vietnamese as a Foreign Language at KS 3
3. Focus on professional development by attending all departmental meetings, training courses, and school workshops.
4. Make sure of lesson plans are prepared carefully and effectively before teaching
5. Undertake all duties and responsibilities professionally, being punctual, showing good pedagogy, spending time on preparation of teaching plans.
6. Motivate, preserve the school’s prestige and develop the school’s missions
7. Be flexible and adjust to changes to satisfy school’s and students’ needs.
8. Participate in regular school events, special events and CCA
9. Support and be friendly with staff and colleagues in both school and department.
10. Carry out the procedure of absence or covering.
11. Be an invigilator for all kinds of school exams.
12. Follow the school calendar of homework, check regularly and give feedback & reflection to students
13. Update students’ progress following the school’s requirement and participate in PTSC as required.
14. Support HOD in reviewing the curriculum and selecting adaptable materials and other teaching equipment
15. Attend, share and provide constructive ideas in both school and department meetings.

Requirements:
1. Graduate from authorised universities, specialising in Literature & Language
2. Master the knowledge of Vietnamese Studies curriculum and teaching methods
3. Fluent English (speaking and writing)
4. Experience in teaching Literature & Language.
5. Master computing skills
