As a Trade Marketing Manager for Mat Viet you will directly report to General Manager and functionally to a Regional Marketing Manager and are responsible for driving sales and market share growth for the Mat Viet chain through a mix of strategic planning, tailoring of national programs, creation of store specific programs, and successful executions in-store
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to tailor trade marketing plans based on expert understanding of consumers/partners need and create store-specific activities to optimize revenues and margin
• Develop, oversee and communicate the coordinated retail marketing calendar of promotions and events for all stores ensuring that all activities and collaterals fall within budget and are easily executed within available resources.
• Manage Promotion initiatives by working with GM to develop overall strategy, with AMs to forecast and with Logistics/Finance on purchase/invoicing to ensure timely production and successful launch.
• Work with Merchandising team and Designers/Vendors to create best in-store visuals and environment to impact the customer experience and maximize sales/ conversion
• Work with Graphic designers and Merchandising to create marketing collaterals, manage production and ensure timely delivery to related parties
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing to develop integrated strategies that are mobile-first and offer consistent, on-brand consumer journey at each store.
• Lead concept development and supervise executions of new product/collection or store launches in close collaboration with other functions
• Participate in the process of segmenting, targeting customers and positioning product/service to increase store traffic and improve sell-out productivity
• Research and analyze consumer shopping behavior and market/competitive landscape to identify opportunities for existing and new stores
• Prepare and train the sales team to use marketing materials to promote our brands with consumers
• Work closely with Area managers to improve product knowledge and selling capability of sales staff
• Set KPIs, track and evaluate effectiveness of all trade marketing activities for continuous improvement
• Analyze monthly sales data by stores to identify issues, opportunities and propose fast solutions to management to achieve targets
• Control brand stock availability, forecast and manage supply to maintain healthy inventory
• Work closely :with digital marketing team to manage customer database and build effective CRM plans
• Organize all in-store customer special events
• Manage and monitor trade budget spending by projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business or related majors with at least 5 years in Trade marketing experience working in a fast-paced business environment
• Direct experience in Retail marketing or FMCG Trade Marketing
SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to think strategically, conceptualize new ideas, initiate change and react to fast-paced environment
• Strong project management and organizing skill
• Good office computing skills (Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Solid communication and presentation skills (both internally and externally)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Detail orientation with strong problem solving capabilities
• Creative thinking and good eyes for fashion and inter-decoration
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects with attention to details
• Passion for modern and effective Retail marketing
• Ability to effectively multi-task and cope well with pressure
• Proactive attitude with high ownership and accountability
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a demanding environment
• Ability to work independently while co-operating well with team members
• Hard-working with can-do attitude
