Tour Operator (German/spanish/english)

In this position, you will have an overview about the inbound industry which focus on Inbound market, what Inbound travelers expect from us and how can we provide them an unforgettable experience in Vietnam.

** Responsibilities:
• Make sure the tour program is feasible, book services for thoroughly tour: accommodation, transportation, air tickets, tour guide… and update all information in our internal software.
• Prepare all documents needed to allow the guide to run the tour properly.
• Communicate with tour guides while on tour and if needed discuss with clients (depending on experience) to identify and solve issues that may occur, with the help of your manager, if needed. Liaise with the sales department and manager to report any issue.
• Post-tour debriefing with the guides and written or verbal report to give to the Manager in case some services need/can be improved.
• Ensure inquiries and complaints are handled within 24 hours and comply with internal standards.
• Make sure all documents prepared are accurate that no information is missing and that they are delivered on time.
• Provide on-going support to guide/operation /sales member throughout the trip duration as required
• Keep oneself informed about all tourism-related issues in destinations area
• Good communicate with tour guides to follow up the progress of the tours and resolve problems occurring during tours and notify department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related field
• 2-3 year experience is a similar position, Spanish or German inbound experience is preferred. Training will be provided.
• Has good product knowledge and keeps looking to improve it, has a professional mind-set and a passion for travel and his/her work

SKILLS:
• Good problem solving skills, responsible and careful
• Good communication in English (written & spoken). Spanish or German language is a plus.
• Client oriented attitude and ability to build strong relationships with guides and suppliers and to work in team
• Motivated and willing to learn.
• Pro-active attitude and good organisational skill
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good computer skills (word, excel, outlook). Tourplan knowledge is a plus.
