Part I: Job Purpose
1. Make sure safety, quality, productivity, delivery and optimize production cost (SQDC) exceed requirements and align with company strategy and vision.
2. Lead a production team to achieve the set Key Performance Indicators and comply with Pepperl Fuchs requirement.
3. Develop staff retaining talent and maximize potential achieve strategy map and company vision.
4. Continuous improvement SQDC with new technology and LEAN manufacturing oriented to the strategy map
Part II: Major Accountabilities
1- Leading goals:
o Develop goals align with strategic mapping, company vision and clearly communicate to subordinators
o Meet/exceed annual set KPIs and budget
o Comply with Pepperl Fuchs requirement system
o Align with higher level for all operation results, direction and resolve problems
2- Develop and continuous improvement to optimize resource:
o Develop production Team to improve capability meet strategic mapping and retaining talent
o Improve technology, products, processes, operating system to optimize resource for maximize delivery and customer reliable
o Create synergy and enthusiasm to develop team works in both external and internal TPU to maximize support
o Apply LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement culture to simplify production processes
o Create a motivating environment and build a relationship with stack holder, partners, and customer
3- Support daily operations:
o Provide enough resource for daily operation as requirements of the customer and Pepperl Fuchs system
o Keep track all KPIs, compliance requirement and improvement plan to flexible leading aligns with company annual KPIs/Goals (SFM, sustainability board, project review…)
o Right time support to the team to resolve the problem
o Escalates to higher level or TPU external support to resolve the problem
o Feedback to relevant to develop and eliminate miss-alignment and mistake
Part III: Key Performance Indicators:
• Meet TPU annual KPIs provided by Top management
• Meet objective provided by the Operational Manager
• Deliver project on times, meet goal and budget
• Create and deliver manufacturing plan and budget

Part IV: Job Specification
Education:
- Bachelor or Engineering degree or similar level educated outside of VN.
- Referable for MBA or Engineering degree of mechatronic – Electronic major
Languages:
- English, must be good in communication as task requirements
- Germany will be a plug
Experience:
- More than 3 years of production manager position
- More than 5 years of work experience in the manufacturing of electronic devices (SMT, Box built) of a multi-national company with high mix low volume model. Singapore, Germany enterprise is an advantage.
- Well understand operational processes (planning, procurement, transfer new product, processes and technology)
Specific Knowledge:
- Strong result oriented, customer focus and problem-solving
- Good in communication, build team works, relationship with R&D, Business Unit and reliable with Customer.
- Quick adapt with multinational culture (Singapore, Germany)
- Expert in LEAN manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Poke-yoke, flow line, value stream, waste elimination…).
- Well understand how ERP system work in planning, production module
- Advanced production schedule and budgeting system
- Understand P&L and products cost structures
Part V: Competencies Requirements
- Leadership skill: Strong in leadership skill, leading success subordinators and influence support department to maximize contribution and talent retention.
- Customer Focus and Drive result: Build customer’s reliable by continuous improve quality, delivery, cost and process compliance.
- High commitment in leading TPU team to achieve set KPIs/objective with flexible getting the resource in both internal and external Pepperl Fuchs Vietnam.
- Delegation and empowerment: Understand the business structure and develop organizational structure accordingly.
- Right delegation and empower to maximize strength and develop weakness of subordinators
- Problem solving and Decision making: Leading Team for structure way of problem-solving, escalate to the higher level when issuing beyond of the scope.
- Understand the situation, facts, and root cause to give direction or the best decision to solve the problem.
- Communication and Reporting skill: Strong in communication with multinational culture and complex organization. Good reporting/presentation skill to get the right support
- Motivation and Build Teamwork: Understand and balance between company’s and employee’s need to motivate the team.
- Give right direction solving the conflict, create dynamic- team work environment.
- Balance workload and share knowledge, understanding each other.
- Work smarter than hard; finding fun at works.
Education:
