[Textile & Garment] Assistant Logistics Controller

Major responsibilities
• Responsible for monitoring Import / Export shipments to the plan.
• Checking booked quantities against the customer order, docket and packing list.
• Monitoring factory shipping plans to ensure efficient loading and cost savings.
• Daily bookings, data entry and document management in Suppl-i-view system.
• Updating the schedule for FOB price, export quantity and vessel sailing dates.
• Supporting factories with all shipping enquires to achieve On Time Delivery.
• Communicating shipping and logistics related issues.
• Reporting shipping non-conformances.

* Competencies for success (skills)
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English. Fluent in Vietnamese.
• Computer skills: Experienced with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn new systems, packaging and loading methods.
• Ability to help deal with internal and external problems related to logistics.
• Ability to check information to achieve deadlines and customer requirements.
• Basic understanding of Vietnam customs regulations.
• Basic understanding of Containers and Loading methods.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in logistics and shipping.

* Important organisational relationships
• Close working relationship with the Vietnam Production team.
• Close working relationship with factory merchandisers, shipping managers.
• Close working relationship with nominated Freight Forwarders.
• Communicating by email with external teams in UK and Romania.
• Reporting to the Senior Logistics Controller.
