Test Leader/Test Manager

The key role of the Test Lead/Test Manager is to ensure the effective day to day planning, organization and execution of test activities for testing on a project. You are responsible for a team of manual testers & automation engineers.

- Leading Manual & Automation Testing teams
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing sprints/phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with all federal accessibility standards and guidelines
- Identify and manage project risks
- Provide documentation in the form of Test Management Plans, Test Cases and Test Reports throughout the complete software development lifecycle

[Key Requirements and Technology Experience]
- 5+ years of formal testing methodology experience
- Excellent understanding of software delivery cycle and release process
- Experience with both web and application Testing
- Experience in, or understanding of, Test automation using Selenium, Appium,..; Using SOAP UI, Postman or similar tools for testing web service
- Expertise in developing/documenting testing strategies, including test plan development, schedule creation and QA reporting
- Expertise in developing and managing QA processes and implementing testing techniques and tools
- Expertise in unit, regression, integration, system testing and user acceptance testing methodologies
- Review and validate Test Cases, Test Scrips, Test Plan, Schedules.. to meet stated business needs
- Evaluate, review and implement recommendations for improvements to existing testing methodology procedures and documentation for efficient delivery of high quality products
- Provide performance metrics and reports for testing activities
- Effectively manage competing resources and priorities
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Guide testing team in best practices; defining and implementing Agile and Hybrid/custom testing approaches
