Our company is seeking a full time Test Analyst / Business Analyst to join a fast paced and agile development team. This is a mid to senior position and would be ideally suited to a person with experience in performing manual and automated testing for large and complex retail business system. You need to be passionate about quality, automation and standards, and that you believe in testing is the final frontier for a quality product. You are expected to possess excellent knowledge and experience in testing methodologies, ability to work with stake holders to capture requirements and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.

The ideal candidate will possess the following key requirements:
- Performing manual testing and assessment of our in-house built software
- Collaborating with the Agile/Scrum teams to continuously deliver software
- Research, Recommend and Develop automated testing capability
- Review requirements for testability
- Consult with stakeholders and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient
- Determine test conditions/ test objectives
- Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions
- Execute test cases and report results
- Managing software defects through to resolution
- Raise and close defects when necessary
- Report results periodically to managers across the business
- Work closely with Team Leads and stakeholders to capture business requirements, articulate it into high level design spec and work closely with developers through to testing completion.
- Work as an effective team member; share knowledge and information with the team and assist others in meeting team priorities
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and conceptual thinker

Required attributes:
- Knowledge about Test Analyst / Business Analyst
- Knowledge in all areas of the SDLC, including System, SIT or UAT
- Business analysis experience, working with the business to ascertain and confirm requirements.
- Good analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
- Knowledge in the accounting and ERP type of software is a definite plus
- Practice automated testing tools from development to management and execution
- The ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the development team
- Exposure to the Microsoft .NET framework and Microsoft TFS is a plus
- MS SQL server experience
- Strong initiative, accountability and leadership qualities
- Experience with Agile
- Data Analysis skills.
- Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like Files, XMLs, Databases
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

Additionally, preference may be given to candidates who possess the following:
- Working knowledge of or experience in ERP type system.
- Working knowledge of or experience in Accounting or Retail POS systems
- Excellent academic and Tertiary Qualifications
- Oversea or international tertiary qualifications (especially Australia)
