Tender/ Construction Engineer

• Down responsibility of Tender senior Manager, prepare tender of different packages (Owner Engineer, Detail Design, Turbine, BOP, Substation, EPC, etc.) for international/local bidders
• Manage the preparation of RFQ (technical and commercial)
• Review of contracts and technical documents
• Prepare the bid analysis
• Attend clarification meeting with contractors
• Liaise with different departments (Development, Construction and Legal) to finalize the tender requirements
• Manage the handover between Tender phase to Project Execution phase (Tender department to Construction department)
• Manage the Tender department folder on the company document management system
• After first period in Tender Department, will be transferred to construction site as a Construction Engineer

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree
• Major: construction areas, civil or electrical engineering

Years of Experience Required:
• At least 5 years of experiences
• Priority: Experiences in renewable energy project (solar, wind energy)

Essential Skills and Requirements:
• Skills for international projects, mainly in Asia area
• Knowledge of EPC contract, FIDIC system …
• Knowledge or background in civil or electrical engineering
• Wind energy knowledge is a plus
• Previous experience in contracting, power and construction sector
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
• Fluent in English (verbal and written), basic in Chinese if possible
• Used to work with Risks analysis (quality, cost, time, legal, financial…)
• Basic MS office knowledge (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), MS Project, Autocad…
• Autonomous & Organized
• Individual work as well as team work
• Immediate availability is a plus

To be successful in this position:
• Strong previous solar experience requested. TBC will bring Wind Farm experience by specific training program
• Good understanding of TBC targets and EPC targets for a good preparation and negotiation later
• Organized for complex dossier to be prepared by different departments (Legal, financial, partners, technical department, ...)
• Having a flexible attitude, adapt behavior and work methods in response to new information, conditions or unexpected obstacles
• Good anticipation of each next steps in EPC Tender processes
• Being able to work closely with others and also perform well individually
