Technology Operations Manager

Scope and Responsibilities:
As our Technology Operations Manager, you will be responsible ensuring that the technology engine that runs Nike’s Vietnam technology operations functions to the demanding standards or our internal and external athletes. You will also acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients, to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed

• Devise, refine, and implement operating rhythms that enable efficient and reliable technology operations
• Partner with technology, business, and external on ensuring comprehensive support strategies are employed and adopted
• Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
• Embrace standard structured and efficient ITIL processes to optimize resource allocation and customer experiences
• Align with peers on seamless and consistent follow the sun support
• Effectively manage key stakeholder engagement via continuous and effective communication models with peers, partners, team members, and customers for projects and programs
• Plan for and manage the budget for the organization including the development and implementation of plans to hit aggressive productivity targets
• Manages projects or programs with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity and leads others to solve complex problems
• Monitors and controls costs of own work Makes decisions guided by policies in non-standard situations
• Provide leadership and direction in goal setting, coaching, staffing and motivating a team of Nike technology resources

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field; 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years experience in IT, business or a related field
• 1 years progressive experience leading and managing teams, preferably technical, professional level staff geography dispersed.
• Experience within the Apparel and Footwear, or manufacturing industries would be an advantage
• Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
• Excellent understanding of business complexity and project inter-dependencies
• Solid technology knowledge on Infrastructure and ITIL methodology
• Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
• Good understanding on Project Management Skill and rich hands-on experience
• Specific knowledge in one or more of the following areas: PLM, ERP, MES, Websites would be advantageous
• Extensive technology management experience in a global, matrixed corporation
• Leadership Excellence in regard to team management and organizational evolution
• Ability to engage and integrate with major development initiatives
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Highly skilled in conflict resolution, collaboration, and high profile decision making
