Technical Translator

The Technical Translator will fill a full-time role to translate technical documents from French to English, and vice versa. Most documents will have ICT terminology thus requiring a minimum understanding in this business sector.

Your Tasks:
• Translation of technical or commercial material like reports, procedures or manuals
• Legal documents such as contracts
• Training supports

Your work will include:
• Reproducing the text clearly and accurately ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;
• Researching legal, technical or commercial terms and consulting with experts to make sure that the translation is accurate.

Required skills:
• Fluency in French and English Written and spoken. Vietnamese is a plus
• Excellent writing skills and command of grammar;
• The ability to translate accurately and adapt to different styles;
• Technical translation ability especially in IT sector is a plus;
• Ability to meet deadlines;
• Research ability;
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality;
• Good IT skills;
• Team collaboration.

Experience:
• At least 1 year of experience as a translator using French and English languages.
