Technical Support Manager

Currently we have the very exciting position of Technical Support Manager available. We are looking for a disciplined, honest and diligent candidate with strong Leadership and personality. Logical and analyitical thinking is a must. Pls. read carefully through below descriptions and our requirements. You will lead 5 people in the Spare part Stock shop and report to our Head of Technical Department.
Your main Tasks:
a: Manage and maintain our Spare Part Stock shop (Stock in, Stock out)
b: Sourcing and purchasing of Spare parts
c: a plus will be to speak Chinese

The Job Location is in Ben Luc, Long An Province. We prefer applicants which are not living in Ben Luc and surrounding area.

What will you do:

A. A. SAFETY
B. 1. Comply with all company and corporate environment, safety and health policies, programs,procedures and job specific roles and responsibilities defined in the ESH Manual
• Ensure to meet government regulations, minimize ESH Management risks and control loss to the organization
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Report any identified potential hazard or unsafe conditions observed within the area of responsibility
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while inside the production area

B. ADMINISTRATIVE
2. Prepares Stock in , Stock out and Stock Report, memoranda and internal correspondence. Ensures its correctness, completeness & accuracy IN ORDER TO ensure that all-pertinent information are passed on to the respective persons.

C. PLANNING
3. Prepares manpower requisition and schedules taking into account the optimization of manpower resources IN ORDER TO meet the demands of our Shifts

D. QUALITY
4. Ensure the high Quality product in the Production Department.

E. CONTROL / EMPOWERMENT
5. Monitors personnel posting /assignments during the shift, absences, tardiness and break times. Conduct counseling sessions to employees with behavioral problems, identify training needs of production personnel and conduct coaching and motivating sessions IN ORDER TO reduces overtime work by 10% and develop each employees full potential

F. MEETINGS
6. Conducts regular meetings with Stock Shop personnel to establish team work and discuss production & quality issues at hand. Provides regular update to management regarding vital information’s coming from the line that may have an impact in the company’s operation IN ORDER TO establish open-communication to all levels in the organization.
7. Responsible for the smooth turnover of all information to the incoming shift. Endorsed any problem encountered during the past shift.

G. HOUSEKEEPING (5’s)
8. Comply with all Company and Corporate 5S programs, policies and procedures. IN ORDER TO maintain a clean and orderly workplace

9. Ensures that Procedures, Guidelines, Forms and other Quality Records are updated and filed

What You Are Good At
Must be an graduate of Engineering with minimum work experience of 1 year.
• Technical Course equivalent of 2 yrs. experience in the Plastic Industry.
• Very good Leadership Skills
• Very good Inter Personal Skills
• Proficient in Oral and Written communication (English and Vietnamese)
• Computer Literate (MS Word & Internet)
• Experience in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of spare Parts
• Can work with extreme pressure and little supervision
