As Technical Architect you are the owner of WECHEER.IO’s software technical architecture. You are accountable for shaping and delivering technology solutions from ideation and design all the way to deployment and post-deployment enhancement.
You will be part of an exciting project in a fast-growing investor-funded start-up. You will join a dynamic and very international team spreading from Vietnam over Lebanon, Estonia and Switzerland to Mexico. Your main work location will be Ho Chi Minh City, where you will be working closely with the founders.
Technology
You are responsible for the overall technical leadership, including code reviews, coaching developers, documenting and evolving coding standards and best practices, performing data modeling, and authoring frameworks and utilities to improve the effectiveness of the development team. You proactively identify, address and flag solutions that are overly complex or that will compromise implementation. You also participate in advanced troubleshooting of production and pre-production systems, and you may occasionally perform hands-on development work.
Technology : React-native, PHP, Node JS, micro-service
Innovation
As a tech-savvy individual who independently develops his/her tech knowledge and skills through informal and formal learning, you take an active part in defining the product strategy and roadmap. You inspire, inform and contribute to shaping the future of the product with the aim of implementing scalable cutting-edge technology. You are also interested in experimenting with modern software implementation practices (i.e. TDD, BDD, IAC) in order to increase delivery speed and effectiveness.
Leadership
As technical leader you are involved in building up the WECHEER.IO team by identifying required tech capabilities and roles, by hiring the right resources and by developing them. You advise on technologies & tools selection, as well as on the technology implementation methodology. You oversee the technology development budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources. You track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.

Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
-3-5 years of hands-on development experience
-3-5 years of experience in leading technical architecture
-Hands-on system integration experience
-Preferably experienced in hardware integration and IoT
-Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases
-Fluent in English
