Team Leader for Product Development

For our continuously growing subsidiary AdNovum Vietnam LLC in Ho Chi Minh City, we are recruiting a Senior Software Engineers/Team Leader. As a Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader for our NEVIS product you will build an awesome team and develop with them sophisticated features for our NEVIS security suite. You will have two roles. On the one hand, you will have leadership responsibilities as a line manager and as a local team leader. On the other hand, as a Senior Software Engineer you will implement features and provide guidance in technical aspects, for example on software architecture.

In your daily work, you will
- Implement features for our NEVIS products according to AdNovum's high quality standards
- Be in constant dialogue with your local team and with the other NEVIS teams in Switzerland and Hungary
- Ensure that your team can deliver milestones in high quality, for example by organizing know-how exchange on best practices
- Continuously identify problems and impediments in the teams and among the team members, and address them pro-actively until they are resolved
- Provide feedback and develop your team members to enable a sustainable career for them at AdNovum
- Support HR in certain activities to build your team, for example in recruitment of new team members and performance evaluations of your team members
- Ensure the communication flow among all affected parties for decisions on goals, software architecture and strategy, and participate actively in corresponding discussions
- Support your team and the product owner to achieve outstanding software architecture, quality and maintainability

To master this job, you should have
- a university degree (BSc/MSc) in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- a minimum of 6 years of experience in professional software development
- a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing enterprise Java applications
- exceptional trouble-shooting, organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
- experience in building a high performing team with an awesome team spirit
- a minimum of 2 year of experience in leading a team or as a technical project manager
- the willingness to take on challenging tasks in a supportive team
- a firm understanding of design methodology and a keen interest in new technologies and methods
- excellent communication skills in English
