We are looking for an experienced tax executive to lead the Tax Compliance and Planning (Direct and Indirect Tax) for Vietnam market. This position will be responsible for supporting the tax management for Tetra Pak Vietnam & Tetra Pak Binh Duong including planning, accounting, filing, and reporting process. We expect the candidate to have solid experiences in Local Tax regulations, Tax Audits and Accounting procedures. This position will report to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that the organization meets its tax obligatioâpns & objectives complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Perform all tax compliance routines (accurately and on time) related to Corporate Income Tax, withholding taxes, VAT and all other applicable indirect taxes.
• Leading and Coordinating Tax audits (CIT, VAT, Customs) and pre-empting any potential issues.
• Work closely with the external tax advisors while retaining the overall ownership of the process.
• Support strategic tax planning to minimize risks and optimize tax costs.
• Take lead in the APA (Advance Pricing Process) and work with our consultants and competent authorities
• Drive Transfer Pricing documentation regulatory requirements together with our consultants
• Consultancy to the business areas of the company regarding Tax matters and driving improvement of internal procedures related thereto.
• Drive SAP system regarding indirect and direct taxes changes and adaptation GAPs, manage all other parallel systems that sustains the tax environment.
• Support and follow up on cases under litigation.
• Perform analysis of tax related GL Codes and deferred tax, periodically as required by group financial reporting instruction following IFRS and local GAAPs.
• Maintain working relations with tax authorities.
• Understand new updated changes in tax legislation proposed by MOF/GDT and work on an implementation strategy
• Experience in customs regulations specially for EPE enterprises will be an added advantage

• University Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Law. Government University Degree on Tax / Certified Tax Accountant
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in multinational companies or Big 4 Firms, covering various roles, and with last role at independently managing Tax.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge in SAP/R3 and business processes would be a big advantage
• Knowledge on customs regulations will be an added advantage
• Fluent English and Vietnamese (both in writing and speaking)
