Tax Consultant - Global Employer Services (Ges)

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist Seniors and Managers in performing GES engagements, including: Personal Income Tax, Immigration and Payroll services and other required engagements;
• Assist Seniors and Managers in preparing proposals and business development materials;
• Work independently and collaborate well with team members to prepare accurate working papers and/or concise and well-written reports using appropriate business and technical knowledge on a timely basis; and
• Research, analyse tax issues and draft tax advice related to clients’ issues on PIT, Immigration, Payroll, Labour and Social insurance (if any);

Basic qualifications:

• Good Microsoft Office’s skills: Excel and Power-point;
• Good English skills (especially writing skills). Ability to use a second language (Korean, Chinese or Japanese) would be a plus point.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Careful and attentive to details;
• Able to work under pressure and handle multitasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines;
• Demonstrate a good understanding of PIT, Immigration, Payroll, Labour, compulsory Social Insurance as well as business/regulatory environment influencing Vietnamese tax and business transactions;
• Demonstrate a professional working attitude;
• Patient and committed to the firm’s career path in the long future.

Preferable work experience:

• One year or more of experience in tax field (especially in GES);
• One year or more of experience in performing tasks related to Payroll and/or Compensation and Benefits ; and
• Experience working for Big 4 would be an advantage;

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Foreign Trade, Business Administration or another where appropriate;
