Tax Accountant (Temp 6 Months)

- Respond to inquiries from government agencies regarding tax filings, compliance, claims and related matters.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of an assigned tax area which may include, but not limited to tax planning, preparation, analysis and compliance of a division of the company.
- Respond to inquiries from government agencies regarding tax filings, compliance, claims and related matters.
- Serve as primary contact with Internal Revenue Service agents assigned to audit and examine federal income tax returns submitted.
- Determine the tax consequences of the organization’s past or proposed actions. Suggest favorable methods of reporting the facts and recommends that projected actions follow patterns designed to minimize tax costs.
- Direct the preparation and use of all tax records and information as required for proper completion of municipal, state and federal tax returns.
- Direct and assist staff with the development or revision of policies, procedures, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with all tax regulations. Ensure staff is informed of current tax laws, regulations, and rulings pertaining
- May participate in foreign tax provision review.
- Assist with annual disclosure requirements for the tax return.
- Monitor changes in tax law as they affect the organization’s tax liability. Ensure staff is informed of current tax laws, regulations, and rulings pertaining to municipal, state and federal income taxes.
- Coordinate with other functional department to measure the project run smoothly

- Academic background:Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance or related field.
- Job experience:1+ years finance or related experience.
- Skills: Excellent math and analytical skills. .
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function specific software.
