System & Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities
 Provide escalated support (servers, business applications and networking issues), internally, onsite and remotely;
 Provide pre-sales support for Account Managers and present solutions and delivery a successful outcome on project opportunities;
 Deliver high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements;
 Identify potential IT opportunities and relating back to internal team(s);
 Project design and implementation;
 Diagnose, resolve, escalate, follow-up and complete client IT issues. Liaise with Services Australia when required;
 Assist AVTech Australia and AVTech China with local projects;
 Communicate with third parties (e.g. Internet Service Providers and Hardware/Software Vendors);
 Understand and comply internal service desk systems, policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure continuous improvement in professional services.

The ideal candidate MUST HAVE the following skills and attributes:
 Skills & Experience
o Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support and/or project delivery for enterprise environments with multiple sites;
o Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (speaking, listening, reading and writing);
o High degree of creativity and judgment to identify and solve complex problems;
o Good presentation skills and ability to provide pre-sales and post sales services and support;
o Good written and project documentation skills;
o Efficient time management skills;

 Ideal Technical Experience:
o Knowledge of networking, firewall, routing and switching, VoIP is an advantage;
o Knowledge of networking cabling projects is an advantage;
o Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 Operating Systems;
o Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2016/2019;
o Microsoft SQL 2008/2012/2014/2016/2017 administration;
o Linux server administration is an advantage;
o Security and Antivirus : McAfee, Symantec, Sophos is an advantage;
o Backup and Disaster Recovery: Microsoft Clustering, Veeam, Symantec;
o Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V);
o Storage - NAS and SAN (HP, Netapp, EMC, etc.).

 Qualifications
o Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
o At least one major industry certifications in Enterprise Systems (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, McAfee, Symantec, Computer Associates, Netapp, VMware, Citrix, etc.).
