Mô tả công việc
*Reports to: CEO Name and PMO
POSITION OBJECTIVE
As Sustainability Manager, and Business Unit Representative (BU Rep), you will be responsible for the development, management and implementation of BU and global sustainability targets. In your role you will provide technical support, and both educate and influence the business to ensure sustainability is integrated seamlessly into the business. The BU sustainability strategies will be owned by your BU CEO and the global sustainability targets will be globally coordinated by the FPL Sustainability Project Management Office (PMO). You will be critical in driving a consistent approach that ensures global sustainability objectives and commitments are reflected in the business processes
It is important that the Sustainability Manager develops strong understanding of the business unit structure, key stakeholders and decision makers within the BU and have strong communication skills. This role is a full-time position which is dedicated to driving our sustainability program into the BU.
*General
- Be the subject matter expert on sustainability, servicing all departments within the BU
- Provide sustainability expertise and guidance to the organisation to drive the implementation of the sustainability strategy.
- Assist in developing and delivering training to staff as required
- Collaborate with staff within the business, including global Working Groups, to support the delivery of the targets
- Build strong internal relationships with relevant stakeholders in the business.
- Foster external partnerships with various stakeholders including customers, contractors, suppliers, investors, community and regulators to drive collaboration and the implementation of the sustainability initiatives
- Foster external partnerships with government and industry forums on relevant sustainability initiatives.
- Assist with developing frameworks and data management procedures and metrics to measure the success of the business unit and global targets that are relevant for the business unit.
- Collate business unit specific data to track and report on business unit performance against the targets.
- Manage any local consultants engaged (if applicable)
- Potential occasional overseas travel may be required
Business Unit targets
Manage the development of sustainability strategies, business plans, feasibility studies, presentations, and implementation plans for sustainability projects for the BU
- Execution and integration of each target workplan within the BU – this will include preparing the annual GRESB submission commencing in 2020 and developing subsequent action plans
Global targets
- Contribute to the development of a BU specific strategy on executing the global sustainability targets
- Help coordinate workshops by identifying key stakeholders to assist in developing business strategies
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Other tasks that may arise as directed by the PMO and CEO.

• Familiarity with transitional and physical climate related risk preferable
• GRESB (or other ESG benchmarking frameworks) is desirable
• Carbon accounting and tracking in accordance Greenhouse Gas Protocol is desirable
* Qualifications
• Completed a relevant tertiary degree
• Third party Green Building certification tool accreditation, relevant to your region (LEED, Green Star, Green Mark, BREEAM, TREES, WELL, NABERS, LOTUS, DGNB, etc)
• Personal Attributes

• Highest ethical standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
• Strategic, analytical approach, creative problem solving ability

• Prior experience working in sustainability in a business environment
• Prior experience in implementing sustainability or other related change programs
• Proven understanding and application of project management principles, with the capacity to coordinate and manage diverse work teams and financial/budgetary elements
