Teaching Support
• Facilitate differentiated support for students (individuals and small groups) so that they better achieve their learning goals and feedback to teachers.
• Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups (with differentiation) to help reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
• Participate in joint planning sessions with teachers
• Manage student behaviour effectively and in keeping with the behavior management plan
• Work co-operatively with teaching staff.
• Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations as requested.
• Supervise games and other recreational activities of the class
• Distribute teaching materials to students.
• Ensure class Weebly is maintained and homework tasks uploaded at discretion of teacher
• Contribute to anecdotal records of relevant data to help assess progress of children.
• During specialist Subject lessons support the students by attending and participating in the lesson
• Implement school policies as required Including but not limited to; academic honesty, behaviour management, ICT, child protection, attendance/lateness/leave, uniform, dress code

Main Purpose
• To complete teaching and administrative tasks at the discretion of the teacher
• To teach small groups/class as requested
• To assist individual students as required
