Supply Planning Supervisor

Job Description ABOUT THE JOB
Perfetti Van Melle - one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide - is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Supply Planning Supervisor
Work location: Binh Duong Factory (Bus company from HCM City)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for:

1. Effectively work with cross-functional team to ensure short-term and long-term company objectives are met.
2. Responsible for end to end short-term and long-term supply planning. Guarantee product availability to customers and provide the best master production plan to comply with inventory policy and customer service level, enabling supply plan to meet demand at least possible cost.
3. Management of master data related to supply planning, product inventory control, capacity management, scenario analysis and strategic resource planning.
4. Responsible for ensuring adequate quantities of the materials to support production schedule, while controlling inventory level to minimize inventory obsolesces.
5. Proactively taking ownership in the day to day activities as well as challenging oneself to lead certain improvement initiative.
6. Preparation and participate for Monthly Supply Review Meeting and support data consolidation for Monthly Sales & Operations Planning.
7. Responsible for weekly, monthly reports compilation and reporting to relevant departments.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We need you to have:

1. Supervisory:
a. Manage, supervise and lead a team of 1-3 supply planners, if any.
b. Lead in project implementation, such as process improvement, system/ tool implementation.

2. Supply Planning:
a. Review Net Requirements and shortfall in system. Alignment with demand planning on the supply volume and timing of new products.
b. Responsible for capacity balancing/ planning for the assigned products.
c. Generate the best SKU level weekly master production plan (in-house or co-packing) to comply with agreed capacity, inventory policy and service level.

3. Supply Execution:
a. Materials requirement planning, convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order, and liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule, to ensure materials are supplied on time to meet production schedule.
b. Monitor production status, ensure stock are received in system accordingly.
c. Provide monthly rolling purchase forecast to strategic suppliers defined by Procurement.
d. Monthly review and manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory, share recommendations to minimize obsolesces.

4. Data Governance and Reporting:
a. Ensure accurate data (Production Order, MRP Data, Purchase Order) are maintained in the system, clean up invalid orders minimum at weekly basis.
b. Provide accurate and complete supply planning parameters (eg. Lead time, MOQ) after reviewing with key stakeholders.
c. Compilation of monthly reports related to supply planning, like supply review, DS+, KPI reports and participate in monthly capacity review with BU.

5. Execute extra jobs assigned by line manager.
