Supply Planning Specialist

Objective of the Position
The Supply Planner will be responsible for supply chain management, as well as processing orders and maintaining inventory levels.The ideal position will have exposure to using an MRP system, organize and optimize the various procurement & logistic solution with suppliers, applying principles and rules.

Description of Key Responsibilities
Supply issue
• Manages directly with supply critical issue that are escalated by stock controller (Purchaser)
• Responsible to generate the procurement forecast.
• Communicate the procurement forecast with all the suppliers.
• Check the effectiveness of the supplier actions on the critical issue
• Escalate to Managers for critical supply chain performance issue with suppliers
• Regular review of supplier capacity & Bottlenecks.
• Escalate unsolved issues to Managers to be tackled during SOP meeting
Participate in excellent Inventory Management Process
• Responsible for SS review, ABCXYZ and stocking policy.
• Manage inventory turn, inventory efficiency and take necessary action to improve the situation.
• Weekly follow up excess and slow moving stock, take necessary action and put target to reduce excess, and control inventory turn over.
• Ensure related Material Master, Pricing Master, Vendor Master is correctly set in the SAP system (e.g: LT, MOQ, MRP Parameters, …)
• Working with suppliers to reduce MOQ and LT (with Purchasing and Category Management team)
• Review replenishment strategy from manufacturers and between plants to improve the supply capability and stock-out situation.
• Monitoring supplier forecast accuracy.
• Participate in SOP process to enhance the forecasting and service level.

• University Graduation.
• Degree Educated: Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or relevant major.
• At least 2 years practical experience with Purchasing, Supply Planning and Supply Chain.
• Ability to pinpoint opportunities and risks related to the supply plan and deliver effective resolutions.
• Demonstrate strategic planning and implementation.
• Communication abilities and computer competencies;
• Strong knowledge and practice in procurement and Sale Operation Planning.
• Strong experience in SAP
• Analytical skills, proactive approach;
• Excellent English proficiency;
• Good at computer (MS Office, Excel, and internet);
• Excellent communication skill, negotiation skill, and interpersonal skill;
• Strong learning capability and problem solving skills;
• Good organizational and prioritization skills. High levels of creativity;
