Supply Planning Officer

1. Responsible for all wrapping material orders for Licensed Manufacturers.

2. Liaison with Licensed Manufacturers and BATMS for the above materials order process (L/Cs, sales contracts, purchase order, shipment plan, customer complaint, etc...)

3. Monitoring material shipment schedule from BATMS to Licensed Manufacturers to ensure the materials delivered to Licensed Manufacturers on time in full.

4. Providing administrative support for Line Manager in preparation of all reports of inventory and order forecast on a monthly or on an ad hoc basis as requested.

5. Update Line Manager of any changes in import duty of Wrapping materials for cigarette production.

6. Collecting feedback from Licensed Manufacturers and respond within guidelines. Liaison with Licensed Manufacturers, QA function and BATMS on the verification and compensation of defective materials processes.

7. Stock report and reconciliation for SKUs under license factories

8. Prepare deck for monthly meeting such as Supply review meeting, Demand planning meeting, Market review meeting

9. Corporate new product, cycle activities, samples & wrapping materials initiatives in the production plan by balancing manufacturing capabilities in coordination with marketing, manufacturing & planning functions to ensure smooth execution.

10. Compile and analysis performance measurement in production planning, materials planning and capacity planning to ensure accurate operational direction towards business goals.

11. Manage and monitor inventory (Finished Goods and Wrapping Materials) in accordance with inventory policies. Manage monthly stock report (quantity & shelf-life, FIFO, store condition).

12. Develop & maintain good relationship with manufacturing, marketing, product development, distribution logistics and finance teams through integrated plans that are adequately understood & supported to attain Company and Supply Chain objectives

13. Ensure good relationships with key external customers and suppliers to drive opportunities for improvement to processes & service in a collaborative manner.

14. Other duties will be assigned by Line Manager.

- Negotiation: a high level of negotiation skill is necessary to support Line Manager on material delivery procedures.

- Communication: an upper – intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills in English (level 3) and Vietnamese is necessary for both internal and external communication to domestic contacts.

- Computer skills: good command of Excel, Word, Power Point is necessary to develop and manage computerized material and machinery shipment systems effectively.

- SAP knowledge is advance

- Demonstrates maturity, good analytical skill and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

- Proactive and able to exercise good judgement as well as work independently

- Production: a medium level understanding of production scheduling, cut rag tobacco and wrapping material ordering procedures, usage monitoring, finished good issuing and accountability and stocks counts is desirable.

- Experience: a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Logistics or related field such as Procurement preferably within Tobacco Industry but possibly from another international company operating within Vietnam is required.

- A degree in Foreign Trade is advance.
