Supplier Quality Engineer_ Fresh Graduate Students

1. Supplier management and improvement for Asia region:
Support the development of new components acc. to Schaeffler Vietnam sourcing strategy
Conduct APQP/PPAP for new components
Travel to Vietnam on a regular base to align the sourcing and quality strategies
Release new suppliers and develop acc. to Schaeffler requirements (mainly in China)
Development of existing suppliers by self initiated actions and follow-up
Initiating of strategic measures (e.g. leading of escalation meetings, commodity specific strategies, long-term development plan, etc.)
Initiating, planning and conduction of audits at critical suppliers incl. follow-up of measures
Complaint management (trouble shooting) with suppliers incl. 8D method
Active cooperation with the Lead Buyer in regards of contract negotiations
Active cooperation with cross-functions/ regions to build up knowledge and exchange expertise
Continuous tracking of commodity specific KPIs and immediate initiating of measures when deviating from the target
Take part in sourcing decisions

2. Risk Management:
Analyze and evaluate risks and related impacts to the business in regard to supplier status and performance
Escalation of risks to related functions in appropriate time.

3. Alignment:
Alignment of activities with Asia Pacific region
Resource planning for projects and audits (experts from region, HQ, BU, etc.)

Fresh graduated
Bachelor or master degree engineer, major in Mechanical
Understand easily complex technical and business matters
Structured approach of tasks
Good skills of self organizing
Familiar with standard tools like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power-Point and SAP
Team player
