Supervisor, Special Investigation

Duties may include but not limited to:
 Actively support and lead by example with company and department standards and objectives
 Supervise and direct the operation and daily activities of the Special Investigations team to ensure an efficient and effective operations
 Provide guidance, instruction and coaching and counseling Officer – Special Investigation
 Engender a respectful and harmonious workplace and team and result based approach
 Generate surveillance projects, investigations and reviews based on systems and other generated data and information
 Ensure a strong working knowledge of department SOPs and related manuals and systems, review these for relevancy and for clarification of issues
 Review and approve documents and reports and observations generated by the team
 Monitor, detect and report on irregular, suspicious and illegal activities
 Observe and analyze non-gaming, gaming and cash handling areas using advanced IT systems in accordance with standard operating procedures
 Review gaming and cash handling activities to ensure procedures have been complied with and integrity maintained
 Operate advanced IT systems and communication equipment in accordance with operating requirements
 Survey staff/customer activity from the Monitor Room
 Monitor staff and customers in accordance with the Code of Conduct policy
 Monitor, analyze and review gaming and cash handling activities including high action, junket activity, count procedures, point of sale, etc.
 Monitor the integrity of gaming and cash handling functions through observing and reporting procedural violations, reviewing equipment, auditing transactions and table games hold percentages, etc.
 Evaluate and analyze information from multiple sources including CCTV, ITrak, Patron/Employee Databases, Digital, available statistics, etc.
 Respond to situations identified through surveillance and computer analysis systems or as supplied
 Maintain control and confidentiality of Surveillance and computer systems
 Conduct investigations, collate and collect evidence, present data and evidence to authorities.

Qualifications/Requirements
 High School preferred
 Minimum 3-5 years local or regional casino surveillance experience (preferred 2 years of previous supervisory or senior officer experience or Special Investigations experience)
 Excellent command of written and spoken English
 Proficient computer skills including, e-mail, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database, PowerPoint, presentation and organizational/project planning software applications and Interaction
 Must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
 Must maintain a very high level of complete confidentiality relating to Surveillance department business matters and SOPs and any other information. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Independent, analytical and meticulous. Work multitasks and meet tight deadlines
 Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
 Extensive knowledge of cheating and game protection issues
 Good Knowledge and experience of CCTV systems usage.
