Due to the expansion of the British University Vietnam, we are recruiting:
Job title: Student Support Officer
Report to: Academic Operations Supervisor
Work location: Ecopark township
Job Objective:
This position is to be the first level of contact between Academic Services Department at BUV and parents/students in order to streamline and improve our customer services. This position is also to support the department with tasks for course operation and administration.
Key responsibilities:
1. Student communication:
As a front desk officer, deal with all student queries. Responses are to be provided to students in a timely fashion and followed up
Ensure the excellent provision of proactive and reactive student information services
2. Course Operations:
Prepare, monitor, and summarise attendance registers on a daily basis
Manage student information systems
Follow disciplinary actions and keep track of these to report to COS
Send fee information and fee reminder to students and parents/ fee payers
Conduct course feedback and prepare reports
Prepare monthly updates to send to parents (attendance, disciplines, and Academic results if any)
Support the admissions officer to manage UPP & Foundation courses during busy periods
3. Administrative tasks
Ensure logistics for each classroom
Stationary order for course office and faculty
Logistic support academic events (orientation, parent’s day, student staff liaison meetings)
Prepare purchase requests
4. Other tasks as assigned by/via line manager

Qualified Vietnamese nationals
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree at least
At least 01 year experience in similar position in an international working environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Flexibility and cultural awareness
Computer literacy in MS office applications (Words, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
