The Student Affairs Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing, coordinating and case managing complaints for students at Vin University Project.
The position will provide confidential sensitive advisory and triage services for grievances submitted via the student portal and support grievances received via other pathways. This role will work with the integrity unit staff for reporting and evaluating complaints data trends, provide advice and support for professional and academic staff using the portal at Vin University, and provide feedback to support improvement of the Vin University complaints management processes and function for Vin University Project. The Coordinator will work with local academic and professional staff to identify and address underlying issues to improve the student experience.
The role will work closely with other members of the integrity unit, and may be required to support student results, applications, conduct, appeals and related activities.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at international college/university
• English is the language of teaching and communication at Vin University. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (General) with a score of at least 6.0 or equivalent to 65 in BULATS
• At least 3 years of experience with a focus on provision of high quality front-line customer service advice and support, preferably in an education environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written communication and report writing and the ablity to communicate sensitive information using multiple modes.
• Ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, including those who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
• Experience working in a complex environment requiring the application of analytical and problem-solving skills and the exercise of sound judgement.
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks; high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient use of standard office software; experience with databases and online records systems.

Cornell is involved in every aspect of the development of VinUniversity from infrastructure and campus planning to curriculum development and faculty hiring. Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business is providing extensive academic advisement in a variety of areas, drawing from a wealth of faculty expertise at multiple colleges and units at Cornell University. Penn’s medical and nursing schools are functioning in a similar fashion to guide the formation of health science education at VinUniversity and to interface with Vinmec, Vingroup’s outstanding health system which currently encompasses 7 hospitals throughout Vietnam. VinUniversity aims to meet the QS 5-star rating standards and will include the following schools within the University: a School of Business, Hospitality, and Real Estate; a School of Engineering and Technology; a School of General Education; a forthcoming School of Health Services and Public Health; a School of Nursing; and a School of Medicine.
