Structural Improvement Manager - APAC

Structural improvement continue to be a requirement for Sonova to improve profitability and robustness of the organisation particular in the context of continued M&A activities. The Structural Improvement Manager for Sonova Asia Pacific Region is fully dedicated to develop and implement an end-to-end process of high level structural, high business impact to the organisation.

 End to end project management (from idea through post-launch phase) of high-level structural improvement projects with a very high business impact in close alignment with Top Management
 Define process around filling the improvement funnel, also (but not only) in strong relationship with ongoing M&A activities
 Define relationship between structural improvement work-stream and M&A white paper tracking
 With the Group Vice President Operations, ensure regular inflow of improvement opportunities with the relevant stakeholders
 Own the valuation methodology for the structural improvement opportunities (in line with best practice project valuation principles also applied e.g. for M&A)
 Thus ensure fact based comparability of improvement opportunities
 Own stack-ranking of improvement opportunities as a basis for prioritization
 Propose prioritization of projects after consultation with GVP Operations and project relevant stakeholders
 Ensure timely and continuous flow of initiatives for opportunities not to get stranded and to absorb implementation bandwidth
 Own tool set and implementation methodology for structural improvement projects
 Hence ensure fast ramping up of implementation initiatives based on collective know-how and learning
 Systematically evolve and enhance tool-set and knowledge base with learning from past and current projects
 Familiarize and coach new initiative leaders with the tool set and methodology
 Be the ambassador of Sonova standard tools and templates for the structural improvement initiatives
 Own overall progress and result tracking of running opportunities versus initiative and group targets
 Collaborate closely with Finance Group Controlling in planning and analysis processes around structural improvements

- Graduated from university, with a focus in economics, engineering or science
- Qualified professional experience in Business Excellence projects within a multinational industrial environment or for a reputable consulting firm
- Proficient in English
- Dynamic person, willing to shape and change processes, distinctively analytical, assertive, independent and target-oriented, expresses empathy, expertise and determination
- Travel up to 60%, depending on project
