Strategy & Development Intern

1. Marketing Research Assignments –
o Commodities price forecast through compilation of multiple research reports from metal analysts/secondary research
o Commodities end-consumption sectors & demand driver analyses
o Commodities demand/supply dynamics, surplus/deficit forecast and industry analysis
o Competitor analysis
o Correlation and regression analyses to establish the relationship between macro-economic indicators and major revenue and cost drivers for NPMC
2. Update of existing financial models in association with Nui Phao Mining Company Finance, Accounting and Operations teams
3. Assist Strategy & Business Development team in development of Financial Models (Integrated financial statements, financial ratios analysis, sensitivities and scenarios analysis) to evaluate different merger and acquisition targets

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Final year student/ in finance/banking/economics
- Both freshers and experienced candidates are acceptable

Skills
- Well versed with MS Office tools (Excel, Power-point, Word)
- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills (English)
- Interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and in working under pressure

- Preferred (but not required) candidates who are studying CFA/ACCA/CPA, finished Financial modeling courses or are able to read Chinese.
Period: 3 months (immediate hire, extendable and convertible to full time job subject to business requirement and individual’s performance during the internship).
