Specialist - Technical Service, Footwear, Performance Materials

Technical service:
- Provide technical service / support in terms of technical application, troubleshooting;
- Handle / follow-up complaints on technical related issues and refer major ones to supervisor;
- Analyze and resolve technical issues;
- Conduct line trials at customer sites.

Testing and lab practice:
- Perform product testing following defined standards TDS and formulation;
- Manage testing reports;
- Provide product failure analysis and solutions;
- Co-operate with other technical-in charge in BASF to develop / adjust new products / formulations based on customer's requirements.

Technical supports:
- Provide technical support to business team, co-ordinate in presentation/ seminars and workshops;
- Collect technical trends, competitor activities on the technical aspects;
- Prepare and keep updated professional documentation of all technical activities and trials carried out in-house and at customer site;
- Strictly follow internal quality requirements, BASF and EHS requirements; report any areas of concern to Manager.

- Degree in Chemistry, Material (Polymer) Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
- Min 3 years in technical field, dealing with Chemicals (e.g. Polyurethanes, Engineering plastics, TPU); be familiar with laboratory testing equipment'
- Chemicals materials (e.g. Polyurethanes, Engineering plastics, TPU) and technology;
- Good command of English and Computer (Ms. Office) skills.
