Specialist - Supply Chain

Transportation Management (TM) Surface Operation Management:
- Be responsible for the operation of transportation management surface operation (Trucking from port to customer/BASF's warehouse).
- Ensure Transportation and Distribution Safety (TDS) performance in compliance with TDS standard Manage non-conformance from internal/external customer.

Inventory Management: for shipments that needs transits to BASF's warehouse
- Coordinate with Logistic service provider (LSP) to monitor the movement transaction in SAP.
- Coordinate LSP and Supply chain colleagues to minimize the discrepancy between SAP report and physical stock, close the discrepancy (if any).
- Keep close contact with LSP, BU Supply chain to ensure goods delivered correctly and in full quantity following FIFO rule.

LSP Management:
- Ensure all BASF requirements are properly implemented by LSPs through monitoring LSP KPI, conducting regular audit / meeting and requesting/following up to ensure LSP to improve on audits.
- Coordinate with forwarders and relevant personnel for Import – export documentation and progress e.g license, custom clearance, goods receipt etc.

Custom & Foreign Trade:
- Be responsible for import/export shipment release.
- Be in charge of master data in import/export such as HS code, licenses, tax rate.
- Consult internal/external customer and support new Biz.

Others:
- Actively develop good understanding of the business requirements and ensure all challenges and obstacles are addressed; Collaborate for solutions which are aligned with internal and external policies and regulations.
- Support Supply Chain & IS team to deploy and apply the upgrade and change request, train /share and support the logistics team at other site in term of system knowledge and issue.
- Prepare and submit reports on time KPIs report, Root cause Analysis, correct action.
- Other assignments.

• Degree in Industrial Management or Business Administration.
• Min 5-year experiences in Logistics (warehousing, transportation, import & export), preferably in MNC or matrix organization.
• Experiences in Chemical industry is advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP supply chain modules: SD (Sales distribution), MM (Material management), TM (Transportation management).
• In-depth knowledge of Import and Export documentation, Incoterms (official rules for the interpretation of trade terms), customs regulation and practices.
• Good English and computer skills (MS. Office).
