Specialist - Rbps Application Support (SAP)

This position is indirect hire with 2-years contract.

Objectives of the Position
• Main project support role for Project Next Generation Business Architecture (SAP 4HANA Migration), supporting all coordination activities of the local Country Captain and Country IT Coordinator for Vietnam.
• Assist country captain to ensure that region participates fully in all the Core conversion, IPE Design and Transformation project activities.
• Act as Vietnam’s Single Point of Contact for all SAP application related BAU topics, Support Change processes and implementation.
• Facilitate and steer communication between the local business / functional units and the various global service delivery units / project teams within the IS division to enable successful lS Service delivery and project implementation.
• Act as a SAP application subject matter expert and consultant for BASF in Vietnam.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
NGBA Specific tasks
• Support the Project Team in Data Collection, Process Review and Validation activities.
• Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing.
• Post Conversion Support for End Users.
• Act as coordinator and interface with country Business/Functional units/ Key users and experts to perform:
- Process / Data Validation
- Functional Testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Post Conversion Support
- Issue Capture & Resolution

RBPS specific Tasks
• Analyze business needs presented by the relevant users and recommend sustainable and appropriate SAP Application solutions, considering global IS portfolio, integration and sustainability as priorities.
• Act as an interface between users, operations and programming personnel in the areas of system design, modifications and troubleshooting.
• Steer delivery of IS SAP Application Services and Projects including local implementations (and rollouts) of change requests, solution implemation and projects in the country. Coordinate UAT and local change steering (IT Applications); identify knowledge gaps and organize for training of users to ensure appropriate user enablement. Orchestrate local changes incl. to initiate needed adaptiations of business processes where necessary.
• Manage SAP Application related escalations, initiate periodic reviews of service and project delivery to identify lapses in service delivery, causes of frequent or high impact failures and suggest preventative action. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in the Support framework. Seek to continually improve the services provided.
• Support the resolution for all services, incident and problem escalations arising in the country. Trigger appropriate actions, working closely with the respective teams to bring about timely communication, restoration and closure. Ensure that lapses in service delivery are captured and reported appropriately, escalating to the relevant hierarchies of the service delivery units whenever necessary.

- University Degree in Information System Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Information Services Area and Customer Account Management;
- Minimum 2 years of delivering SAP Application services;
- Information Management, Knowledge of Market/Industry & Customer Requirements, Service Management (ITIL Foundation);
- Knowledge on SAP Applications;
- Knowledge of Application Life Cycle Management.
