Specialist - Financial Controlling, Agricultural Solutions (Indirect Hire, 10-Month contract)

Financial Forecasting and Business Analysis
• Collaborate with Operational Planner on collection and review of calendarized article-level 24-months sales plan including volumes and prices.
• Identify risks/downsides and opportunities/upsides to sales plan. Document and track risks and opportunities including likelihood and decision time and review on a monthly basis. Identify in collaboration with local business management which opportunities qualify for operational planning in APO DP (“approved APO upsides”).
• Upload sales plan base case to MAP (for financial planning) and APO DP (for operational planning), ensuring consistency of both systems. Upload “approved APO upsides” to APO.
• Forecast P&L by month for current year and upload to MAP. Analyze actual and forecasted financial performance, pro-actively highlight deviations from target to management and recommend countermeasures. Develop business commentary for AP and corporate management.
• Monitor development of local COGS development (PUP review, MARS Q&A, material master status, tolling fees).

Financial Business Support
• Support value based decision making throughout the organization targeting sustainable optimization of absolute Market Performance.
• Support Country Management in steering pricing and rebate schemes (co-sign off with sales & marketing). Develop price/volume scenarios. Check rebate settlement calculation, monitor rebate accruals.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses based on operational business steering requirements.
• Support New Product Launch (NPL) process (article code creation, pricing and supply planning).
• Steer the operational planning process for the following calendar year, using the 24 months sales plan as a basis.

- Degree in Finance or Accounting;
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the area of Controlling;
- Knowledge on Agrochemical industry / market / products will be advantage;
- Advanced finance and accounting skills, proficiency in interpretation and analysis of financial reports;
- Good commands in English and MS. Office (Excel) is a must;
