Specialist. Business Process Improvement

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
Key support and responsible for Statistical Process Control (SPC) program in Ansell plants with implementing, enhancing and executing Statistical Process Control system monitoring in Production Manufacturing and Quality Control effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC) System
2. Manage SPC infrastructure and all related devices at Plant. Update and design the work stations and shop-floor SPC tools arrangement, keep all in tracked and improved.
3. Working with Global SPC Leader for enabling Statistics Process Control (SPC) Business Process Structure such as SPC Rhythm, Process Control Plan and Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP), Process Control Checklist, Best Practice and Methodology and Standardization across all products platforms category
4. Create a SPC system Implementation Roadmap and Strategy with clear define goals for plant.
5. Establish and conduct comprehensive SPC System Training to manufacturing and quality to enable the application of relevant tools and close loop monitoring on the training effectiveness.
6. Working with Process Engineering to set strategy for SPC Improvement Project through Six Sigma projects implementation.
7. Ensuring Control phase in Six Sigma Projects are being implemented in SPC system. Plan data collection methods for any specific Process Control Monitoring and determine the types and sizes of sample groups to be used.
8. Analyze and interpret Process Control data statistically in order to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information.
9. Evaluate sources of process control variation in order to identify the root cause and improvement areas of limitations in terms of reliability or usability.
10. Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods.
11. Design research projects that apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information obtained from baselines or historical data from Process Control Data in order to structure product critical to quality correlation and process capability monitoring, using Product and Process Variable Matrix tools.
12. Supervise and provide instructions for Production/Quality for collecting and tabulating data.
13. To be a super user of our electronic software for SPC and Statistics. Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data.
14. Report on a weekly basic to superior and global leader and update plant management as and when necessary about project statuses.
15. Take the role of manage daily improvement at shop-floor via Gemba & Kaizen.
16. Work on plant process improvement & sustainment based on Lean & Six Sigma tool and tasks under assignment by Manager, Business Process Improvement.

Education
• Bachelor degree and above in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Statistical, Material or related major.
• MSC in Advanced Process Controls would be an advantage.
Job Experience
• Minimum 5 years experiences in Process Control knowledge and leading plant wide SPC program and Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge and Skills
• Strong Driver, Influencer and facilitation skills
• Strong Attention to details, Strong Problem Solving Skills and investigation capabilities
• Can implement and create an Improvement plan
• Speak and write well in English and local language
• Prefer to have certified 6 Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt.
• Proficiency with statistical software and quality tools such as JMP/Minitab, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 8Ds process, 5-Why, 5M+1E (or 6M Analysis), process management flow charting or process mapping etc.
• Good Interpersonal skills to communicate with Production and management
