Sourcing Manager (Medical Healthcare)

Mission: InnoQ is the house brand of idsMED consumables and positioned to be leading medical consumables brand in Asia.

Key responsibilities:
1. Sourcing Strategy: Recommend and/or develop InnoQ sourcing strategy for the region and/or local market
2. Vendor Sourcing & Management:
a. source vendors for InnoQ products needed by local country or regional InnoQ teams
b. perform vendor evaluation, inspection and negotiation
c. manage local vendors on performance and compliance
d. carry out local vendor audit
3. Product Selection and Merchandising: Provide information and sourcing intelligence to local country team and assist them to determine InnoQ’s local market needs, product mix and product selection
4. Product Development: handle new product development and customisation by working closely with regional and local country InnoQ teams
5. Registration: manage product registration by working closely with registration team in local country for imported InnoQ products or with other country team for exported products by supplying necessary product and vendor information
6. Packaging and Labelling: work closely with regional InnoQ sourcing team to handle InnoQ product packaging and design and labelling for selected InnoQ products and for the locally sourced products according to regional branding and/or local regulatory requirements
7. Compliance: ensure quality and legal compliance of the InnoQ products handled
8. Supply Chain Management: collaborate with idsMED Global to develop inventory and logistics strategies for regional distribution of InnoQ products
9. Vendor Contract: work with idsMED Global to establish purchase contract with the local vendors

1. 5+ year experience in sourcing or merchandising industry, at least 3 years or more experience in medical consumables is preferred
2. Solid knowledge on and connections with consumables products and vendors, locally and regionally
3. Good business acumen. Interested in business development and/or creative product development
4. Proficiency in compliance and registration requirements
5. Good communicators in English and local languages, teamwork thinking
6. Ambitious, passionate, having strong sense of commitment
