Sourcing Cum Planning Staff

OBJECTIVE:
• Making and following up the production plan as per orders
• Creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones
• Oversea and Local sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices and advising Sourcing Manager on which suppliers to contract with.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
• Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
• Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
• Coordinating with Quality Assurance Manager to assist in checking the quality of items to make sure that it is compliance with the quality policies.
• Building up and review supplier’s performance to meet company’s business expectation.
• Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
• Making weekly production plan: Both Whitewood and Finishing area
• Following up the raw materials, hardware, finishing and packaging material base on the orders and stocks
• Working and pushing the Import-Export person in charge to know about the booking /vessel both for importing material and exporting our furniture
• Other tasks assigned by Sourcing Manager and Purchasing & Planning Manager

KEY PERFORMANCE IDICATORS:
• Ensure the raw material/ hardware , tools, ...be delivered in time at least 95%
• Ensure the quality of raw material/ hardware, tools, … meets the standard
• On time delivery

INTERFACES:
• Report to: Sourcing Manager
• Dotted line: Purchasing Manager

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in indoor furniture sourcing processes and quality standards
• Experience in making production plan
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good at communication skill
• Good at English communication
• Good at time and risk management
• Good at problem solving skills
• Adaptable to flexible working time and travelling
• Self-discipline
