- Works with the senior management in setting Procurement priorities
- Works with technology, operations, and business managers to ensure the procurement department is aware of changing business requirements for third party products and services
- Directs the strategic sourcing in accordance with business and technical needs and priorities
- Works with Management and Compliance to ensure that the corporate sourcing process and standards are in alignment and executed in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Works with Accounts Payable and CFO to ensure that the corporate sourcing process and standards are used within the organization, to reconcile and pay vendors, to monitor and track assets and to provide financial information for the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Identify and maintain the best industry practices in procurement processes, operations, technology, and management.
- Proficiency to develop, align and execute a corporate-wide procurement strategy including IT.
- Leadership capability to establish shared goals, agree on the plans to execute and help build momentum at an organizational level for procurement initiatives or procurement maturity plans.
- Responsible for hiring, managing and appraising Procurement staff, as well as managing the performance of the Procurement Department, including defining goals, setting priorities and measuring performance

- Bachelor's Degree Holder
- Minimum of ten years of experience in procurement and negotiation for medium to large companies.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct Request for Procurement and Request for Information processes.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct competitive bidding processes in an unbiased and ethical manner.
- Understanding of principles of telecom, software licensing, hardware purchasing and leasing and/or procurement of IT services.
- Understanding of facilities leases, contracting and out-sourcing service agreements.
- Ability to read and write contracts and agreements.
- Understanding of principles of accounting.
- Superior interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
