Software Developer

Reports to: Chief Representative Officer

Position Overview
DSI Vietnam is committed to providing our clients with solutions to their Water Resources, Hydrodynamic, Sediment Transport and Environmental challenges through innovative planning and engineering with the application of state of the art techniques and computer models and related tools. The programmer will contribute by developing and undertaking projects and providing computer programming expertise.

Requirements
- Programmer/ information technology degree qualified, preferably higher degrees
- Excellent technical & presentation skills
- English (good to excellent written and spoken)
- Be able to work independently and in a team
- 2+ years of experience in WinForms development with C#
- Have experience in working with Microsoft Access, SQL Server database.
- Ability to discuss project requirements and technical design with clients in English (highly preferred).
- Strong ability to learn new technologies.

Desirable
- 2+ years of computer graphics development with OpenGL
- Experience other programming languages such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML.
- Computational algorithm and computational graphics background experience
- Experience with Civil Engineering software especially relating to hydrology, hydraulics and hydrodynamics
- Job Specifics
o Working with the Programming Team Leader, Chief Engineer and other Engineering team members
o Programming, developing software products
o Working with Programming Team to validate, test and document software utilities
o Providing supervision programming and training for other programmers
